MEMORIES.....

Did you listen to KATI on your transistor radio under your pillow? We’d like to hear from you….
In KATI’s over quarter of a century on the air there were over three million records played, dozens of station promotions, a couple of hundred DJ’s that worked behind the microphone and MILLIONS OF MOMENTS IN OUR LISTENERS LIVES!  KATI was fun and light but it also contributed to some of the most important moments in your life. 

Day or Night, KATI was always there serving the public and was always more than a time and temperature or a digital juke box. It was always in KATI’s DNA to provide special programs like a “Dog Gone” report or High School or Casper College Sports coverage.

KATI’s owners and staff were always active in the community, whether it was the Casper Troopers, Wyoming Legislature or one of our Casper Schools. KATI was there with it’s KATI School Reports on Sunday nights, the “KATI I-Spy” live news reports from Casper Mountain, Alcova Lake or the “CY Strip.” You heard the days newest artists and songs on the “Fab 14” Music Survey every Monday night.

That break up with a special friend, showing off a new car on the CY Strip, the Kennedy assassination, a special request or dedication with the DJ in the KATI Kaboose, KATI School Reports, KATI Quiz’s, Tanya the Christmas Reindeer, Lady Godiva contest or hearing the BEATLES first song on the radio….tell us!  We want to hear the moments you shared with KATI!

When I was in maybe 3rd or 4th grade -KATI and a battery-less “egg radio” from the old 88 cent store helped start my lifelong fascination with radio and electronics.
