Chris Schneider was announcer at both KATI & KY94 in the early and mid 80’s. He got his first job in broadcasting at KATI, when he was sixteen. Promoted to full time when he was still a senior in high school, he worked in Wyoming until going to the USA Radio Network in Dallas in 1987. From Dallas he moved to Los Angeles where he worked for the legendary Gene Autry and hosted pre and post game shows for the Angels, Rams, Clippers and UCLA Bruins. From there he went to Chicago to host a nationally syndicated talk show and then to London where he had the honor of working for ESPN and BBC.
Chris has now been with CBS for over a decade. As much as Chris loves broadcasting, writing and speaking, he is most honored to call himself a Christian. Schneider has written a best selling book “Starting Your Career In Broadcasting” Allworth Press 2007, is a public speaker, has won multiple broadcasting awards and is considered one of the top sportscasters in the country. Along with working for CBS and writing best selling books Schneider travels the country doing pubic speaking. He is able to offer his audience stories from first hand experiences with sports and broadcasting greats like Tom Landry, Nolan Ryan, Troy Aikman, Roger Stauback, Bob Costas, Chris Berman, Larry King, Jim Lampley and others.
