Sounds of KATI

Jingles & Station ID’s through the years.

jin·gle  ˈjiNGɡəl

“a short slogan, verse, or tune designed to be easily remembered, especially as used in advertising.”    Webster’s Definition

KATI signed on the air on May 5, 1956 and almost immediately the station acquired a sound or identity through the use of radio station jingles.  While those station songs or jingles changed throughout the over 30-years KATI remained on the air, the jingles always remained a part of the foundation of KATI’s “Sound.”  This section of our website is dedicated to the use of radio station jingles on “Casper’s Favorite Gal!”
